01 / What they needed
Many reporting requirements, several teams each owning one part of the picture, and a platform not yet provisioned. The reports had to be ready at go-live, so the design had to cope with requirements that were still moving.
02 / How I approached it
A Microsoft Fabric environment: workspaces, pipelines, a dimensional model and the Power BI layer on top. Requirements turned into specifications every team could build against, and a security model covering the people who consume reports and the people who build them.
03 / What it left them with
Monthly performance reporting running on the new platform, with the team developing, deploying and maintaining it themselves.
